We visited the re-see of Dior's Autumn/Winter '20 collection last february,
just before the pandemic hit Northern Europe. In the face of the Arc de
Triomphe Maria Grazia Chiuri showed the word "Consent" huge on the walls, as
well as she did on the runway. Since her start at Dior her message of feminity
and feminism is clear and wideout in every collection. With the wellknown text
tee's, this year with texts like"I say I" and "Women's love in unpaid labour",
she continues this tradition.
Our definetely favourites were the black and white boots (for men and women)
the suede/fluffy bags (already seen on the streets last september in Paris at
fashionweek) and the simple black and white outfits. Last but not least... the
simplicity of the new CD logo, on the shoes, bags and belts, is sophisticated
and chic, wearable for the minimalists as well as for the ones going more
exuberant.
