September 2020, just before the second corona wave hit Europe we were in Paris for the post-lockdown Fashionweek. There were some digital events, some hybride events and some live shows.
Chloé staged her show outside in the garden of Palais de Tokyo, capturing the models' life making their way to the catwalk. The idea behind this was to pick them up out of their real lifes and stream it realtime on three massive screens, instead of just walking the catwalk. The models were set around the streets of the area, by the building across the Palais, down the bank of the Seine or just chatting on the steps of Palais de Tokyo. When the show started, the models, one by one, entered the county yard of Palais de Tokyo, straight out of "normal" life and walked along the guests. At the same time the film was streamed live on the Chloé site and their social channels, also visible for the guests on the outside screens.
We loved the concept of this show and film because it gave the show more intimacy we lacked the months before due to social distancing and also at fashionweek; obviously less guests then normally at the events. The models looked relaxed and walked the catwalk more natural which gave it a glimpse in their worlds and personalities.
We loved the Daria bag, with the Rita Ackerman print, Maisie Williams was caring, We also loved the simple black Kiss bag with golden handle. Small and easy to style with everything and definetely classy. Our favourite outfits were the black skirt with the wool cut-out knit top and the white dress with embroderies.
