Hope Spring/Summer '23 Copenhagen Fashionweek

Searching for contrasts for their new Spring/Summer collection, Swedish brand Hope presented at The Lab; an industrial building in Copenhagen. With a recreated photographers's studio as set, complete with authentic light, flashes and screens filming the models directly, the brand showed a melancholic Scandinavian summer mood.
Frida Bard, head of design, explored the space between constructed and deconstructed, masculine and femenine. This all comes together in the elastic waisted leather double brown trousers combined with an oversized burnt orange knit, styled nonchalantly over the shoulder (first and second pic).
The whole collection looks genderless and unisex all in a palette of off-white, beige, black and orange/brown. All easy to mix and fabricated with italian premium fabrics such as linen, organic cotton and light tweed.
Our absolute toplooks were the black and creamy shirt dresses combined with ballerina's and platform sandals. Already are the ballerina's a huge trend this fall but worn with a light sheer summer dress is seen on many Spring/Summer '23 runway looks. We also loved the grey skirt-over-pants look styled with a sleeveless blazer and finished of with a hoodie or balaclava, if you like. The fine knitted tops and grey knitted sweater deserve a shoutout as well. In our opinion the collection has some great easy-chic pieces, wearable for years made sustainable and sold for an affordable price..
