Situated in the narrow streets of the Marais in Parais, only minutes
away from the Picasso museum, High-end fashion departement store Dover
Street Market, established a perfume concept store. We visited the Dover
Street Parfums Market during last fashionweek for their 1 year
anniversary.
The interior is developed by fashion designer Rei Kawakubo – founder of Dover Street Market and clothing label Comme des
Garcons. At first the designer wanted to expand the CDG perfume shop
but after finding the big store in the Marais, the idea of Dover
Street Parfums Market arised.
Definetely one to go while in Paris, if only for walking all the
beautifull small streets in Paris. The store has a clean minimal
approach with artworks and random items like mannequin heads with brightly-dyed hair and
tasselled chairs. The store sells brands like Gucci, byRedo, Bottega
Veneta, Helmut Lang, Rochas, Beter You, Amen, Paco Rabanne
etc. Closed now due to the covid lockdown in Paris but otherwise opened
every day, must-go!
