Situationist Fall/Winter '22 Paris Fashionweek

Situationist showed their Fall/Winter collection at 3537.org in the centre of Marais, during politically disturbing times. Being a Georgian brand it was challenging to make this collection. Not only due to the health of employees considering the pandemic but also because the financieal war and the political instabilities at home around their fellow neighbours. The brand requested to stay true to their own identity and to defend creativity. This is the smallest collection the brand presented so far and for the first time with a focus on a zero waste production. Known for their hand made garments, the brand focussed on their craft introducing new shapes and textures with dead-stock and re-usable materials, making everything as eco friendly as possible and using denim for the first time.

The presentation looked like an Art installation filled with models, framed photos and clothes carefully hung up on the industrial walls. Bright red, turqoise and deep blue set the tone for the collection. Not only in the garments but also in the crochet bags and laced up shoes. From ultra mini-skirts to some what oversized baggy trousers to a deep red trenchcoat, all sophisticated styled with big golden jewellery.
Our absolute top looks were the blue denim trousers combined with the deep red turtle neck top and the deep red trenchcoat combined with the dark blue mini skirt. Also favourite were all the high bootie heels and last but not least the black leather overzized jacket, much needed this fall.
