Boramy Viguier Spring/Summer '21 at Palais de Tokyo

Parisian menswear designer Boramy Viguier lanched his menswear label in 2018. For Spring 2021 the designer also launched his first womenswear collection at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashionweek. The collection consists out of floral coats, laque accessories and coats, anoraks with printed Tarot symbols, silk Victorian shirts and belted bags on the back/side/belly. We saw a mix between techno-wear with and a kind of spirtual-mystical approach and in some ways a genderless collection. Although the tailoring was feminine and created an utilitarian aesthetic, the influence of male streetwear was there.
The designer mixed satin shirtdresses with straight tailored faux leather blazers or windbreakers. There were hooded capes, cropped in a variety of colors and floral prints, wide culotte pants with oversized hoodies and as seen on the Men's collection, a sleeveless costume jacket with red visible stitches/threads.
We absolutely loved all the faux leather coats, another fav (obviously) the hooded cropped capes and to complete all the shimmering laque belted bags.
Special mention; the black leather gilet (also in white) ....#girlswowearmenswear!
