The Sulvam Spring/Summer '25 collection presentation featured an 'under construction' theme, symbolizing Sulvam's upcoming Paris store, which opened last August. The store offers exclusive pieces made by the brand's couturiers in its Paris atelier.
The Spring/Summer collection featured Sulvam's contemporary tailored jackets and blazers, styled with oversized shirts and loose-knit sweaters that gave a relaxed twist to formal pieces. Aloha shirts and paisley-patterned sets added a resort vibe, with bold prints bringing in a playful edge. Signature Sulvam touches, like raw hems, unevenly cut knits, exposed pockets, and hanging threads, captured the brand's unique 'unfinished' look, all with a strong streetwear influence. Standout looks we loved included the all-dark denim outfits: one featuring overalls styled simply with a branded logo belt, and another pairing a dark denim skirt with a cropped, cut-off denim blouse. Both were super chic, timeless, and stylish in their simplicity.
Collection notes:
'Not Afraid'
For Spring/Summer '25, Sulvam has shifted from its usual
tailoring-focused approach to adopt a broader focus as a basis for the
collection. In line with the brand's core principle, designer Teppei
Fujita has created clothes that reside outside the boundaries of casual
and formal. This season's designs are flowing with color and patterns. Jacquard with
a tie-dye motif and Aloha shirts that combine floral designs and
camouflage, denim discharge-printed with antique patterns inspired by
European paintings, knitwear with strong shades of pink, blue, and red,
Japanese denim newly developed from a polyester blend, all contribute to
this season’s vivid expression.
Sulvam's staple carryover styles developed from original wool gabardine,
its 'Classic Line', has also started a new women's line this season.
Added scope in the design process has culminated in a collection with
more variety and versatility.
