We discovered Boutet Solanes Spring-Summer '23 collection last october during
Paris Fashionweek. Created in 2020 by Coco Boutet, designer trained at Celine,
Dior and Louis Vuitton and Jose Maria Solanes a photographer known for his
women's portrayals. As Boutet is is obsessed with minearals and gemstones this
collection is based on a woman on who sets out on an exploration to find the
  next beautiful stone.
The collection features a color palettte and patterns inspired by these
gemstones and minerals, using a mix of sustainable textiles produced and
crafted locally. Across the collection we see a mixture of tailored jackets
and trousers, croptops, knitted maxi-dresses and pink bodysuits; executed in
looser fits as well as in more tight fits. The blazer and jackets have a
genderless approach with a slight oversized tailoring and bold shoulders. Our
top statement pieces and favourites were the blue patrol leather jacket and
the oversized beige blazer combined with the orange/brown catsuit.
Showing the collection in an intimate set with models wearing silver sequins on
their faces, the collection featured a modern and feminin style for a new
sustainable future.
