Ruohan Spring/Summer '23 Paris Fashionweek

Set at the Espace Marais, Ruohan Nie, founder and designer of Ruohan, invited us to to view the Spring/Summer '23 collection. After winning the China institute Fashion Design competition this is the brand's first showcase during Paris Fashionweek. The designer intended her collection to be "elegant and anonymously chic", creating timeless garments with quality materials that are made to last.
A closer look at the outfits revealed the textures and details; sheer fabrics tailored into light long skirts, a wax coated blazer styled with a big collar and statement gowns tailored sleek at the brest and wide bloomed till the floor, like a tulip. All garments come in natural and earthy tones, sustainable made out of custom-made fabrics.
With this Spring collection Ruohan Nie designed unique silhouettes with a nice balance between relaxed, effortless and chic.
In the sunlighted and bright Espace Marais, Ruohan chose to have a view models who changed outfits every 20 mintutes. Not a big fuss, just some quiet music, movements from the models and garments hanging and draped like little Artworks in the space. It was the perfect setting for the brand as Ruohan has accomplished the art of chic style.
Note to the lovely Hereu shoes, we loved how they were styled with the floor-length skirts and maxi-dresses. The ballerina will be and is already, one of the biggest trends this Spring season.
