Hummel00 debuted their Fall/Winter '25 collection at the legendary National
Yoyogi Stadium in Harajuku, during Tokyo Fashion Week. Hummel00 is a new concept fashion line by the Danish sports brand
Hummel blending over a century of tradition with the demands of contemporary
lifestyles. Guided by the visionary leadership of Creative Director Masanori Morikawa,
also Creative Director of Basicks Japan, the collection offered a fusion of classic elements with the latest technology and
design.
As guests filled one side of the stadium stands, gazing across the rugby field, the models walked down the runway, turning the open arena into an awesome stage
for the show.
One of our favorite looks was the grey pleated skirt paired with a track jacket and sporty socks, a clever nod to Hummel's earliest athletic collections, a subtle wink to traditional Japanese school uniforms. while reimagined through the lens of today’s Y2K revival. This look was further elevated with mules and two layered white tanks, casually draped over the pleated skirt, adding a modern, relaxed touch to the ensemble. We were also captivated by the all-black tube dress, its wide, flared hem nearly grazing the floor, paired with a trackjacket and beanie. A sleek, minimalist silhouette, complemented by timeless black mules, exuding an enduring sense of style.
All in all Hummel00 blurred the lines between athleticism and avant-garde artistry into a modern everyday collection. The designer reimagined contemporary streetwear with a sharp, conceptual elegance unfolding a bold, multidimensional exploration of
modern identity and motion, expanding the brand beyond its traditional sports
narrative.
