Façon Jacmin presented their Spring/Summer '26 collection for the first time during Paris Fashionweek at the Belgian embassy. Entering the embassy felt like walking into the messy aftermath of a massive party. The room was scattered with crumpled newspapers, flat balloons, and random trash, with a tray of leftover pastries still sitting out from the night before. The collection, appropriately titled 'The Morning After', was inspired by a famous annual cocktail party in Brussels where politicians and where important from politics, art, and fashion all hang out. The models looked like they had just rolled out of bed; messy hair, smeared makeup, and all, but they were wearing a line of clothes that turned that 'hungover' look into something comfortable, stylish, and easy to wear.
The fashion show used three different scenes to bring the Spring/Summer '26 collection to life. Models acted out everyday morning routines, waking up, fixing their makeup, or rushing out the door as if they were late for work. The collection perfectly captured that 'just woke up' feeling, the place was a total mess, just like the feeling of just putting casual some clothes on, all while staying polished and cool. In one scene, a model stood in the middle of the mess wearing a stylish top and skirt, but with toilet paper stuck to her heel. Looking a bit dazed and leaning on the wall for balance, she set the tone for the rest of the show. As it continued, more models wandered out looking hungover, acting out morning rituals like fixing their makeup or rushing off to work. The outfits were intentionally chaotic, mixing pajamas, gym gear, and office wear all at once. For example, one look paired a big windbreaker with a pajama shirt and a professional pencil skirt. This mix perfectly showed the reality of grabbing whatever is close by when you're exhausted and in a hurry.
Façon Jacmin created an effortless collection, designed for the chaos of a fast-paced life. While the collection is inspired by a 'messy' lifestyle, the clothes themselves are practical, durable, and easy to wear. The designs striked a perfect balance between being tired and feeling alive, mixing bright, energetic colors with soft, pale tones. By blending 'office' patterns like pinstripes with sporty details, the brand gives a boost of energy to otherwise sophisticated silhouettes. The result is a polished look that stays comfortable from day to night, ensuring you look good even after a long night out.
About the brand:
Façon Jacmin is led by two belgian twin sisters, Ségolène and Alexandra Jacmin. Ségolène Jacmin wanted to leave her corporate job for something creative, so she asked her twin sister, Alexandra, to start a fashion brand with her. Alexandra, who had experience working for big names like Jean Paul Gaultier and Margiela, wasn't sure at first, but later surprised her sister with a bunch of sketches. In 2016, they started Façon Jacmin. Their original idea was to take old denim and turn it into high-quality, well-made clothing that lasts forever. They started by selling clothes out of a van traveling around Belgium, but eventually opened a real store and became a global name.
