Saint Laurent sculpures by Suzanne Köller

How many gadgets and collaborations can a brand realize? A lot... shows Anthony Vaccarello creative director of Saint Laurent. Saint Laurent's Rive Droite collection, curated by Vaccarello, shows a wide range of exclusive items and beautiful designs. Being a cultural and creative destination Rive Droite is seeking for collaborations in different subcultures, like skateboarding, hip-hop Art and Design. Locatated at the former Colette space at Rue Saint Honoré in Paris, Saint Laurent Rive Droite is always showcasing a wide range of new collaborations, limited-edition books, music and photography. The space itself also houses exhibitions, events and cultural exchanges, like with Helmut Lang in 2020 (find it HERE)
Last march we visited the store as part of Paris (lockdown) Fashionweek. We knew stylist Suzanne Köller made some one-minute-sculptures out of YSL sneakers which we loved to see.
Also the Everlast collaboration and collection was out. Inspired by the black and white photo's by Michael Halsband of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Anthony Vaccarello re-edited an exclusive collection of boxing accessories. But here was more... Exclusive ski's and snowboards developed with ZAI, Spalding re-designed it's iconic basketball with black snakeskin effect for Saint Laurent, a 9Forty black style cap, the Wilson tennis balls and rackets... and so much more.
It is definetely a must-go when in Paris, not only for the exclusive designs, but also for catching up with Saint Laurent's latest collection and obviouly the beautiful interior.
On their website there is a calendar of all current activities and collaborations, and the ones to come. At the same time you can order the goodies in their webshop... better go there when things open up!
