Gestuz Spring/Summer '23 Copenhagen Fashionweek

Wearable, sustainable, stylish, comfy, feminin, streetwear inspired, flexible fabrics, 90's style.....all words that came to our minds when we saw the Gestuz Spring Summer '23 collection. Denmark based Gestuz presented their new collection last August during Copenhagen Fashionweek. Inspired by the late 90's and early 00's, Creative Director Sanne Sehested showed us cargo pants, exposed thongs, belly-out croptops, monochromatic looks, oversized blazers and leather jackets. With some color bombing details in orange, green and blue, the outfits are called back to Scandi minimalism with minimal colors like black, beige and white.
The thigh high slit skirts and ultra miniskirts are combined with bold blazers and trenchcoats, some with a rose choker wrapped around the models neck. Low-rise pants and cargo (denim) pants alternate and mixed with long sleeved crop-tops/jackets also with tailored bold shoulders. A view on the thong, trending in the early 00's, is giving the outfits a feminin and confident touch. Not afraid of showing some skin makes the collection feel powerful and clean with at ease looks and a wearable laid-back aesthetic.
Our top outfit is find in  the bold and creamy oversized blazer with the silver sleek skirt. Nobody could keep his/hers eyes of that look, that is want you want if you create a piece. Other favorites were the combinations with bikinitops and cargopants, probably the most significant trend this season.
Special shoutout to the blue airy dress with the small neckroll. The color looks so fresh we love to see this on the streets of Amsterdam, Paris or Copenhagen on a hot summer day.
