Saks Potts Spring/Summer '23 Copenhagen Fashionweek

Barbara Potts and Catherine Saks of Saks Potts staged the biggest runway show last Copenhagen Fashionweek at the Kongens Nytorv. Open for the public and guests at the heart of Copenhagen's biggest square with Pernille Teisbaek as one of the models on the runway. The Spring/Summer collection takes inspiration from Crown Princess Mary of Denmark; "We were inspired by the time she came from Australia to Denmark in the early 2000's, living an almost ordinary life in Copenhagen, casually walking around the streets in her stylish looks".
As Saks Potts always wants to design something they miss in their own closet and that they could see their friends wear, the collection includes light dresses and skirts, oversized baggy jeans with a crispy white haltertop worn bij Pernille Teisbaek, sheer chiffon tops and cargo pants, printed wrap dresses and a sequined pink tos and dress.
All designed to mix and match together, adornet with some fringed crocheted accessories for a bohemian touch. As always the designers paid a lot of attention to the outerwear, as it are pieces to wear all year around, and a niche of the brand. To further the brand's sustainability efforts, Saks Potts are using more environmentally friendly materials such as Leather Working Group certified ethical leather.
Our favourite look was the first one, the long leather caramel brown skirt worn with a simple white shirt. All the leather pieces were actually wannahave ones. We also loved the golden pieces very much, like the trench and biker coat, hands up for the golden bikini's! Special mention for the pink long sheer chiffon dress. Stylish but also party girl look on a warm summer beach day.
