Nehera Fall/Winter '23-'24 Paris Fashionweek

After a year of absence from the runway, Nehera presented their Fall/Winter '23/24 collection at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashionweek, offering a story between comfort and elegance, being faithful to their Scandinavian design. Through a poem, Nehera reveals its ideas around their work on tailoring, creating the perfect piece which sublimates on the body while it adjusts. A simple message, allowing an interpretation and an initiation into the Nehera universe:

Remove lines that diminish flow.
Strip down any silhouette to its essence.
Dispense of excess.
Correct shapes to enhance the rhythm.
Welcome shades like they are colors.
Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity.
Upcycle, recycle, never downcycle.

Collection notes:
Simpler interpretations are preferable to complicated ones. Expressions should balance between function and emotion. The designs reflect gender flexibility and every creation is indicative of the excellence in tailoring. Less is more but never losing sight of sophisticated style. Monochromatic looks in black and gray tones add to the essence of stripping away excess and a focus on clean, fluid lines and genderless freedom.

We saw a statement for the uncomplicated, the easy-going and the effortless. Also saying; we didn't see  a lot of surprises as we know the brand for some years now. Therefore the most captivating looks were the checkered wool trenchcoat with utiltiy details which also comes  in a pencil skirt. The big utility sewn-on pocket seen on the trenchcoat and pencil skirt, was added on a half dark grey, half light grey shirt as well, giving it a twist on the minimal design.
