Otto Linger Spring/Summer '26 Paris Fashionweek

Berlin’s bold label returns with a collection that’s strong, resilient, and impossible to hold back. Otto Linger's Spring/Summer 2026 show, titled  "Girlfriend", focused on female friendship, strength, and creativity. At the heart of it is the creative bond between; Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient , whose partnership fuels Otto Linger's vision: raw, resilient, and deeply felt. "Girlfriend" was a complete exploration of female friendship, translating emotion, tension, and tenderness directly into clothing. The designers showed every side of friendship;  the trust, the struggles, and the strength that comes from being open. These feelings were shaped into bold designs with sharp lines, straps, and layers of mesh. Familiar Otto Linger details like leather, sheer fabrics, and frayed edges returned, while new ideas appeared too, like wedding dresses changed to break tradition. With uneven ruffles and simple pairings like a black t-shirt or a sheer top, the dresses became symbols of freedom, connection, and self-expression.
The collection celebrated feminine power; unity, strength, and the beauty of working together. Collaboration and sustainability were key themes, shown through a Tinder "Re/Pair" capsule featuring connected t-shirts and necklaces, and reworked pieces made with eBay's Endless Runway project to support LGBTQ+ youth through Lambda.

Show notes:
Otto Linger presented their Spring/Summer '26 collection, Girlfriend, at Paris Fashion Week, a tribute to the transformative power of female friendship. The collection explores how women support, challenge, and uplift one another, turning gestures of care and confrontation into fashion. Reimagined wedding dresses, hand-dyed silks, neoprene details, and overdyed gingham express intimacy and strength, while diverse casting, including Vivian Jenna Wilson, underscores Otto Linger's ongoing dialogue with individuality and authenticity.
Collaboration defines Girlfriend. In partnership with Tinder, Otto Linger debuts Re/Pair, a capsule of twin t-shirts and a two-piece necklace that connect two wearers, symbolizing unity and shared meaning. Reworked garments donated by creative duos will be auctioned to benefit Lambda, supported by Tinder’s €10,000 contribution to LGBTQ+ rights and youth empowerment. Sustainability remains central through the eBay Endless Runway initiative and a teased collaboration with Mammut, reimagining technical gear through circular design. Girlfriend celebrates friendship as a force for creativity, courage, and connection.
