Courrèges new Fall/Winter collection is titled "I can feel you heartbeat",
Nicolas Di Felice's debut collection for the house, preluding a new era for
the house claiming to use more of it's innovative history. The use of vinyl,
geometric weavings and designs, the cropped jackets and A-line dresses came
back this season accompanied by five-pocket trousers, baseball caps and bomber
jackets. Shown in bright colors as well as in more minimalistic and
classic colors.
We visited the house two weeks ago during Paris Fashionweek and loved how the
collection was styled in the store, bringing attention to the tailoring. The
collection turned out as a modern day-to-day minimal collection, with some
extendend cut-out pieces (the leather ones), combined with over-the-knee-
classic boots and simple logo bags. In other words a collection where you can
build on, expand on and combine with your own other wardrobe pieces.
Our thougts went definetely to the socks booties (long and short) all the
laque coats and trousers (always comes back, and as in leather, never boring)
and the leather cut-out dress, statement pieces with a classic touch.
