Situationist Spring/Summer '22 Paris Fashionweek

We fell in love with Situationist back in 2018, while visiting their Fall/Winter presentation during Paris Fashionweek, from which we posted some pictures HERE because it is still so good. After some years presenting at Tbilisi Fashionweek the Georgian designer is back at Paris Fashionweek showing the new Spring/Summer '22 collection called "Air of Uncertainty". The collection tells the story of heritage and hope, exploring the current state of life and the uncertain yet somehow hopeful past few months.
The designer chose a small and intimate venue to showcase his new collections with some installations upon which the designs were draped. Besides that there was a room with mannequins with full looks like, trenchcoats, leather skirts and tailored blazers, pleated skirts, crochet tops and bags and black mules with little cut-outs. Situationist is known for it's timeless tailoring, fierce and bold looks, respecting the heritage and touching the new trends. Absolute highlight were the blue leather trousers and skirt with just 3 pleats. The other leather pieces, the dark red blazer and black trenchcoat, were a feast on the eye and favourite of most of the guests. A timeless, simple and stylish collection, wearable at so many different occasions. We are looking forward seeing them back next season at Paris.

"Fashionweek.Currently it feels like there’s no space or air for planning ahead but there’s an excitement to share, to tell, to show and point, look there’s something right here with us that matters the most. We’re extremely happy to be able to travel from Tbilisi, Georgia and showcases our pieces with our merged selected installations. For some it’s less complex but for Situations it’s always a longer road to achieve the ability to tell."
