A.W.A.K.E. Mode Spring/Summer '23 Paris Fashionweek

Natalai Alverdian showcased her Spring/Summer '23 collection in Paris' American Cathedral. Alverdian's brand A.W.A.K.E. Mode is known for unexpected cut-outs, deconstructed designs and asymmetric styling. Alverdian created a black and white collection combined with a neutral palette and denim pieces. There was a lot to look at, using techniques as weaving, beading and embellishments accentuating the curve of a woman's body. All sharp tailored with movement and a feminine fluidity that felt desirable. The brand always takes high importance in the shoe- and bag designs. We saw the beading techniques coming back in different shoes and bags, hairy pumps and oversized geometric bags as well as transparent corral bags.

We absolute loved the leather weaved brown skirt and white culottes, in our opinion the stand out pieces of this collection. We also loved the combination of oversized bomberjackets with the sheer and cut-out dresses. The cut-out sweaters and tanktops are wearable and a great uplift for your outfit. But the most surprising design was the white t-shirt with hotel slippers stitched at chest height, amazingly well designed and tailored.
