Auralee unveiled their Fall/Winter collection on the opening day of the Official Paris Men's Fashion Week calendar, marking the perfect kickoff to our Paris Fashion Week experience. The collection focuses on versatile pieces designed to seamlessly transition from everyday routines to moments of leisure. These workwear-inspired designs create a practical yet refined uniform that transforms effortlessly with the addition of a tailored coat, the perfect pair of shoes, or a playful detail, like a chic reinterpretation of a dry-cleaning bag, casually picked up for a quick wardrobe change before a night out. "I Heart Auralee" hangers held garments, while pre-worn gloves, cozy scarves and sneakers peeked from open bag compartments, evoking the charm of a wardrobe in motion—dropping its suit at the dry cleaners and reemerging freshly reinvented. Model keycards swung around their necks, giving the impression they were effortlessly strolling backstage. Key details of the Fall/Winter collection include soft-tailored alpaca tweed jackets with structured shoulders, sleek city coats in lightweight melton, and generously quilted down pieces for warmth and protection. Elevated wool-bonded outerwear, along with double-faced wool parkas and bombers, blend functionality with sophistication. Pocketed workwear showcased the brand's contemporary niche design.
This season, Auralee continues its collaboration with New Balance, offering a fresh take on the iconic MADE in USA 990 series silhouette. With a refined color palette and thoughtful detailing, the sneaker embodies a harmonious blend of Japanese and American craftsmanship, appealing to a modern audience. Premium materials like nubuck, mesh, and suede come together in a tonal design, layering subtly varied shades for an understated yet sophisticated look. The taupe colorway features accents of dusty blue, while the dusty blue version is enlivened with a pop of lime green, adding a refreshing twist to the minimalist aesthetic.
Some standout looks from the collection included a striking turquoise off-the-shoulder wool dress, paired with a cozy knitted hat, and a timeless all-black outfit, featuring an ankle-length black coat, a leather dress, and a matching black hat. The collection also introduced a fresh take on classics with not just a barn jacket but also a "barn bag" in cream white and brown, which we predict will be as standout pieces this season and into the upcoming Spring season. As always, the styling was impeccable, sneakers tucked into bags, gloves casually slipped into pockets, and a dry-cleaning sack reimagined as a chic accessory added playful yet functional touches that elevated the overall collection.
